ISO 22000:2018 Lead Auditor
Plan, lead, report and close out third-party food safety management system audits against ISO 22000:2018 and ISO 19011.
What you'll learn
Course Description
A full lead auditor programme for professionals who will conduct or manage audits of food safety management systems. The course works clause by clause through ISO 22000:2018, then turns to ISO 19011 audit methodology: programme management, planning, checklists, opening meetings, evidence gathering, non-conformity grading, reporting and follow-up.
Substantial time is spent on the two areas candidates most often fail: writing a non-conformity statement that identifies requirement, evidence and deficiency without ambiguity, and grading findings consistently between major, minor and observation. Every module includes audit scenarios drawn from real manufacturing sites.
This is an advanced programme. You should already understand HACCP and have working exposure to a food safety management system.
